The World Travel Market (WTM) is a premier global event for the travel industry, held annually in London, typically in November.

WTM brings together professionals from across the tourism and hospitality sectors, including tourism boards, airlines, hotel groups, tech providers, travel agencies, and government representatives from around the world.

It serves as a hub for networking, exploring business opportunities, learning about industry trends, and launching new products and services.

Key Aspects of WTM:

1. Networking and Business Opportunities: WTM is known for fostering connections between industry professionals, facilitating B2B interactions, and providing a space for stakeholders to negotiate deals and form partnerships.
2. Insightful Conferences and Seminars: The event hosts a series of seminars, panel discussions, and workshops led by industry experts, covering trends, challenges, innovations, and forecasts in travel and tourism.
3. Exhibition: The exhibition floor includes booths from countries, regions, and companies promoting their travel products, destinations, and experiences. It's an opportunity for exhibitors to showcase their latest offerings and gain visibility.

A total number of 9.5 million foreign tourists visited India during 2023 out of which 0.92 million visits were from UK, making it the third largest source market for inbound tourists to India.  The Chalo India initiative was launched by the Hon`ble Prime Minister of India to engage the Indian diaspora for promoting India to their non-Indian friends.   As part of this initiative, the Indian diaspora will invite their non-Indian friends to explore the grandeur of Incredible India.
