The 4th edition of the India—Malaysia Joint Military Exercise HARIMAU SHAKTI is scheduled to be conducted in Malaysia from December 2nd to 15th, 2024.

Joint Exercise HARIMAU SHAKTI is an annual training event conducted alternately in India and Malaysia. The last edition was held in November 2023 at Umroi Cantonment in Meghalaya, India.

The aim of the Joint Exercise is to enhance the joint military capability of both sides to undertake counterinsurgency operations in jungle terrain under Chapter VII of the United Nations Mandate.

The exercise will focus on operations in the jungle environment.
