NASA's Europa Clipper will conduct detailed reconnaissance of Jupiter's moon Europa and investigate whether the icy moon could harbor conditions suitable for life.

Europa Clipper mission is not the first mission to Jupiter. However, it is the first mission specifically focused on studying Europa, one of Jupiter's moons, in detail.

It will investigate Europa’s ice shell, subsurface ocean, and potential habitability. Unlike previous missions, it will conduct dozens of close flybys of Europa.
