A bloc of Pacific nations spearheaded by Vanuatu and Tuvalu have called on nation-states to join them in developing a Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty. The World Health Organization, the European Parliament, and thousands of others have supported them.

India current is not a member of this initiative.
