Government delegations from Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan have completed the description of the remaining disputed stretches of their shared border.
The border dispute between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan has been a longstanding issue since the collapse of the Soviet Union.
The border – particularly the stretch that divides Kyrgyzstan’s Batken and Osh regions from Tajikistan’s Sughd – has been a source of tension for more than three decades.
