Pandemic Fund Established by Indonesia (G20)

This fund was launched under Indonesia’s G20 Presidency in 2022 and is a global financial mechanism created by the G20 to prepare for and respond to future pandemics.

Officially called the Pandemic Fund, it is co-hosted by the World Bank and the World Health Organization (WHO) and pools resources from G20 countries, other nations, and private organizations.

India is one of the G20 countries that contributes to and benefits from this Pandemic Fund.
